I'm 63, and was widowed in 2008 after 34 years of marriage. I'm 6'5" tall, and I'm a 'big guy". I'm a Jew By Choice, having converted in 1996, and just celebrated my Bar Mitzvah in November 2011. I'm a retired Social Worker (MSW from UCONN in 1980). I'm a disabled Veteran, which basically just means that my long walks in the woods or on the beach have become short strolls. I live in East Greenbush, but I anticipate moving to Seattle to be near my daughter & her family within the next 6 months to a year, However, I do believe that a man & a woman can have a satisfying, pleasant relationship, even though there may be an end date....but who knows...a lot can happen when the chemistry is right & the time becomes less important.

I'm a very romantic guy, and am strongly in touch with my feminine side. I like to do nice things for nice people for no reason other than it might make their day a little brighter. I like to go to concerts, plays and the movies, but I also like snuggling up on the couch with my partner to watch a dvd or just listen to music and enjoy each other's warmth and closeness. I like to read, and do the Sunday Times puzzle, with varying degrees of success! And running the risk of seeming "needy", I would call her the next day to see if she had a pleasant evening, and maybe ask her if she'd like to go out again.
