I live with two outdoor enthusiasts, Greta Schmutz and Roxy. We enjoy long walks anywhere, anytime, regardless of weather. We enjoy meeting new people, particularly when accompanied by canine companions. I am seeking emotional connection and friendship as I pursue a doctoral dissertation.
I can find the humor in any situation, and enjoy a good debate or intellectual discussion about most anything. I enjoy an occasional craft ale and recently discovered a taste for seared Ahi tuna. I am a handy and pragmatic sort, enjoy building and fixing things, particularly computers and woodworking projects. I am tenacious and passionate, very physical and independent, talkative and curious. I rarely circumvent obstacles of a challenging nature. I accomplish more than most people because I feel a responsibility to act, not just talk or think.
From my day school and Ivy League background I developed strong Jewish values and feel accountable to do my part toward Tikun Olam and Tzedek. I have an unusual skill set that I have exercised through leadership positions, but it is lonely at the top. I prefer to work as a partner or team member and associate with the best and brightest. I need a companion who is self confident but feminine, has strong work values but cleans up as well. Kashrut and Yiddishkeit are important to me, although I am probably as conflicted about faith as the next person. I am generous but not materialistic, caring but not needy, vulnerable yet insist on all relationships built on honesty and equality.
