Tall, slender, happy, playful, thoughtful extrovert with lots of stamps in her passport would love to find someone who knows what their baggage looks like. Personally, Ive been working on whittling mine down to one piece of checked luggage, and something that will fit in the overhead. I grew up on the east coast, got "de-programmed" in New Mexico for a dozen years, and have lived in San Diego since 1986. Born Jewish and love the humor, but find yoga and meditation more my style.
I lead a rich, full life, filled with a widely diverse cast of characters - some even keeled, some wacky as all get-out. What you'll find here is a woman of depth and complexity. People notice right away that I'm smart. For some men, this is a problem. That's no big deal - it just means that we aren't an ideal match. I'm NOT interested in an intellectual dueling partner, however. Behind the smarts is a woman who is capable of warmth, acceptance and love. I can quickly turn to mush with the right partner.

What I've learned over time is that we all do the best we can with what we have. None of us is perfect, including me, but what we all want is someone who will accept us as we are. Not an easy task, but worth the effort! I've also learned to pick my battles, and I've gotten better at negotiating. That's a far easier task when you find someone who is willing to make that effort as well.
What I'd love to find is a man who is authentic, intelligent and fun to be around. Curiosity and humor must be at the core of what drives you. If I could complete the fantasy, you'd be someone who will hike with me locally, or show me your favorite place to get away from it all. I prefer someone who is comfortable with himself, sees the craziness around us and has learned to laugh at it. I live in San Diego now, but have maintained my house in the mountains east of Albuquerque and go back as often as I can. Id love to find someone who enjoys traveling, as it seems I'm unlikely to give this up.
But ultimately, you know what I really want? Have you watched elderly couples walking down the street hand in hand? It takes a lifetime of both pleasure and compromise to reach that point. I'd like to use the rest of my life to get to that point.
The photos are recent. I am who I say I am. I don't look my age (my mother never did, either), and more importantly, my energy level is consistent with a woman 10-15 years younger than I am. I've usually dated younger men, because the energy levels match better, but I've also been known to date men a few years older. In the end it's about chemistry and energy, not numbers.
