A great sense of humor, compassion and intelligence. I teach Sociology and Criminal Justice, and I am a Geriatric Care Manager. I enjoy movies, dining out or cooking in; relaxing on a nice sunny beach; romantic times. I love to travel. I can get lost in a good movie or a "whodunit" mystery where the plot is quick paced, mindless and fun. The music of B.B.King, Eric Clapton, Jonny Lang, The Allman Bros, and Susan Tedeschi are some of my favorites. I like brunch, a great cup of coffee, the company of friends and unstructured Sundays. I work out regularly and enjoy leisurely walks with my dogs. I love dark chocolate! I'd like to meet an honest, caring man who shares similar interests and has a great sense of humor. He must like, or at least tolerate, dogs. I'd like a man who is bright, grounded and is able to engage in clever conversation. Someone who is open to trying new things and is willing to grow and share. Someone who is willing to teach me about his interests and appreciate mine; a man who is independent, empathic, honest and reliable. If he has children, my hope is that he is invested in their world. A man who has "long term wear" and cares how he presents himself to the world. I'd like a lover, companion and partner; a long-term relationship.
