Widowed a year ago (I was married to my high school sweetheart for over 40 years) I feel it is time to rejoin the human race. This is going to be difficult, but I know there is someone out there who will be happy to make the rest of the journey with me. I'm a great cook who enjoys impromptu parties for two or twenty two. I love music-all kinds from AC DC to Mozart- okay so I’m not crazy about jazz but that doesn’t make me a bad person!
I’m very family oriented with two sons who live in different parts of the country. Though I live in FL I visit my son and his family in Houston TX about every six weeks. Grandchildren grow up so quickly and I cherish the time I can spend with them. My other son is engaged and lives in NY (near where we lived in Yonkers NY). I visit him several times a year as well.
My executive career in publishing spanned nearly three decades, ending about 4 years ago when I took early retirement. My job entailed a fair amount of traveling around the country. In addition I've been to the Caribbean countless times. Italy was so beautiful it made me want to return- I'd like to make it soon- to kiss my new love under the Bridge of Sighs...

I love to travel and meet new people. My ideal trip would be to Tuscany to attend a cooking school so that I could incorporate all the things I love in one trip!

I look for LAUGHTER- the man who is having fun is going to be fun to be with. Deprecating humor is best - someone who can make fun of himself and take a ribbing and keep on ticking (but no tickling I HATE that).
