I'm an "optimistic realist" who generally sees that proverbial glass as at least half full. The optimist part keeps me upbeat and happy most of the time. The realist part comes from my career as a case manager in the criminal justice system which, while rewarding on many levels, keeps me firmly rooted in reality. I enjoy my career greatly, but it is my off time with family and friends that I treasure. I'm passionate about music, not as a performer, but as a big time fan. You'll find me as an ardent member of the audience as often as I can be at area coffeehouses or bigger venues. Or, I might be backstage, catering the green room. While I enjoy most types of music, I am especially partial to folk-acoustic, as well as the classic rock I grew up with. I also like theater, antiquing, perusing flea markets, wineries, dining out or trying new recipes at home (preferably with a good friend and a bottle of wine). My daughter is in college out of state, which presents the opportunity for me to expand my horizons as well. Care to join me?
