A first date should be somewhere that you are able to talk and look into each others eyes. A nice relaxing dinner is always good. Sit back talk sip your wine and get to know each other. Then move to the bar where you can look closer into each others eyes and share stories. But it can’t be loud I can’t stand yelling when I am trying to get to know someone.
