As the mother of two teenage boys and working full-time my days are pretty hectic. But never too busy to meet new people (you, perhaps) or have time for good friends. I am passionate about life. Does this mean I climb mountains? No way! It does mean, however, that I don't want life passing me by.

I am equally comfortable at a sporting event eating a hot dog or wearing my Pradas at a black tie soiree sipping champagne. And speaking of sporting events, I am an avid MLB fan. Favorite team? Sure, but why tell you everything up front? Football? Yes, but again you'll have to wait to find out for which team I'm cheering. But on the court it's the Boston Celtics who get my attention and always have since the days of Dennis Johnson and Larry Bird.

My children are a big part of my life. I am inspired by my sons and enjoy watching them become independent young men. Am I excited about changing my oldest son's room into a feminine-decorated office the minute I drop him off at college? Absolutely! But I cherish our time now and will welcome him home with open arms and brisket cooking in the oven.

I have a strong commitment to my sons' Jewish education and Israel. Because they've attended Jewish parochial school and Jewish summer camps I, unfortunately, haven't been back to Israel since I studied there 30 years ago, but hope to again someday.

I love the bustle of Manhattan, the tradition of Gus' Pickles, the white sand beaches of Sanibel Island and the kitschy art fairs in small Midwestern cities. Camping? Only if there's a mint on the pillow.

I'm interested in someone whose culinary tastes range from his bubbe's brisket to Kobe beef; who's equally comfortable at the baseball game and the ballroom; whose quick wit not only keeps up with mine but keeps me intrigued and wanting more; a man who loves his mother but certainly isn't a momma's boy. I'm looking for a man with a good nashama and who is a sophisticated mensch.
