I was born in NJ and have lived and worked in both the United States and Canada. I live simply and do my best to keep my personal 'footprint' as small as possible. I am very active and keep in good physical condition.
I like to ramble, watching birds and enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of nature. I am not a city person and have lived in some beautiful places, for which I am tremendously grateful. I love to garden and grow flowers as well as vegetables. In the evenings, I am much more likely to curl up with a book than to go out anywhere.
I am caring, loving, rarely bored, curious about the nature of life, have learned to wake up to each new day fresh, without echoes of the past.
My interests include art and science, classical music as well as folk, bluegrass, and other popular music. I love gardening organically, cooking and baking bread, taking longs walks, and sometimes going traveling, especially to Europe (I am not much on destination resorts!).
In a partner, I would love to find a great sense of humor! Someone who is interested in life and ideas and loves to talk about everything under the sun. Someone who is warm and kind and forgiving when required. A true friend!
