As a widow of 4 years living in Buffalo Grove, I am a self-confident, resourceful, compassionate, liberal, extroverted, red-headed woman, living my life guided by the main Jewish principle of tikkun olam (making a difference in the world). To achieve this, I conduct Shabbat and holiday services at senior living facilities, and officiate at weddings and funerals. Before you form any opinions about me, let me tell you that I am not Shabbat observant and am kosher by default, as I am a vegan.
I enjoy going to live theater, movies, art fairs, museums, etc. But I have had no life for 6+ years, as my husband died of Alzheimer's in 2019, and I was his caregiver for several years before that, so many fun activities have been sorely missing all those years. I'm in the process of creating a new life for myself — want to help me do that?
