I am an avid NPR listener and political junkie. I live to get on the road...by car, rail, boat, plane. I'll go almost anywhere at anytime. I'm pretty fair around the kitchen, and my travels have introduced me to a myriad of cuisines. I've been in the arts all my life and have actually supported myself without ever really working a real job. I'm financially independent (certainly not flush), reasonably well traveled and moderately articulate. I have an odd (read that morbid) sense of humor and can be a bit sarcastic.I'm the most dependable and responsible person you will ever meet. I'm never late for anything (I file my taxes in early March), and my word is golden. I cannot say that I am as environmentally maniacal as Ed Begley, Jr., but I can hold my own. I am NOT your exciting bad boy!! Good political satire is the best: Dennis Miller (before he became a Republican), PJ O'Rourke (even though he is a Republican), Al Franken, Jeff Greenfield. And finally, I would rather have root canal than watch a football game!! OK...I'm 61.
