I could tell you that I’m caring and spiritual, love people and animals and music and books … all true, but so boring. So, let me start again: as I listen to my favourite music I feel uplifted and my heart sings. For me, this is a form of prayer. When I look up and see a rainbow, or better still, a double one, I am amazed at the richness of the world. When I talk to people and listen to their stories I am humbled and try to learn from them. I am basically a “people person” – I enjoy the company of other people, although there are times when all I want is to sit in front of a fire with a good book and lovely music in the background. But I also enjoy going out, whether it is to visit friends, or to a film, concert, lecture or exhibition. A lover to share this – and it would be absolutely perfect!
I love music – classical mainly, but also folk music. And I play and sing, too! Books – well anything, really. I enjoy novels as well as biographies, history, religion and science.
Last but not least – my cats, who have been part of my life for the last ten years, my friends and my companions.
All I need now is somebody with whom to share all this richness.

What is perfection? Hard to tell and even harder to find, so that is not what I’m after. I would love to find someone good and decent and honest, someone intelligent with whom I can share my thoughts and feelings, someone who is prepared to share my interests while remaining independent, someone who is prepared to let me get to know her and love her. Sharing – that seems to be my key word – sharing without overshadowing, being a couple but also independent.
