Having cared for my Dad for the past five years until he passed away, I am ready to enjoy life again. Intelligent with a great sense of humor and fun, I like dining out, theatre, concerts, movies, music (Vivaldi to 60's rock and disco and everything in between, country and gospel not so much), dancing, art, politics (only card carrying liberals need respond), travel, nature, and dogs, dogs, dogs. A German Shepherd and Lab mix share my life and are endlessly entertaining. I can't imagine living without a dog. I also enjoy gardening, making my home a comfortable place to be, and entertaining small groups of good friends, However, I appreciate and need quiet times too. I am an MSNBC addict and love DIY and HGTV, history and nature TV, and of course, The Dog Whisperer.
This is a time for me to begin life anew, deciding whether to work part time or to volunteer and give back to the community, or both. It is an exciting time and it would be great to share the adventure.
The man I am seeking is intelligent, kind, caring, warm, sensitive, loyal, and independent. He is willing to be a friend first and mature enough to want a relationship that grows over time. This man will have depth, character, and integrity, but he must also approach life with a sense of humor and fun. And .... he must be willing to walk and walk and play with dogs!!!
