I think laughter is the most important part of life because without it what do you have?

Probably the most important aspect of a relationship is honesty. If we are honest with each other there is nothing we can't accomplish.

One of my most important characteristics is my ability to listen to not only the words spoken but the meaning behind the words.

I don't know if this is a good trait but I am very inqisitive. The answer to one question leads to another question.
