I'm kind of outgoing on the outside, but really shy and very sensitive on the inside. An introverted extrovert (actually, an extroverted introvert). I'm not afraid to show my softer, vulnerable side, just a little tough to crack at first. But, I would rather be alone for the right reasons, than just be with someone for all the wrong ones. I love to laugh. I love dancing, restaurants (fancy or not, as long as the company's good), theater, being in nature. I'm interested in the world, though, not really political. More interested in who you are. I'm quite the hopeful romantic. Creative, smart and funny. (and yes, affectionate.) I like sports - Big UCLA football fan (season ticket holder too, wanna join me?.) Volunteer with a cat rescue group. Sometimes a volunteer mediator with the courts. I'm just an honest (heck, I won't even lie to you about my age, though I could), straightforward, independent, and really down to earth person. I am human, not perfect. Really working on being the best, most kind and loving person I can. I'm of above average intelligence, pretty "quick on the uptake," and really special, especially for the right person. Also, your car is beautiful, your dog, adorable. But seriously? I want to see YOU! And in the spirit of honesty, I do wear glasses most of the time.
YOU? Someone with great energy, smart, witty, alive, warm, kind, loving, creative, in touch with his needs and his values, confident (think humble NOT ARROGANT) and a sense of humor. Can you banter? All the better! Romantic, honest and thoughtful too. (Sorry for the cliche, but if you don't ask.) Someone who's not afraid to look inward for growth, listens to what is said, and not said, and has something to say. I hope if he says he is ready for a long term relationship he's willing to do what's important to get there (good, open communication, emotional availability?) Since I really value honesty (sooooo not into the game-playing thing) I would like to find someone who tries to be truthful, especially with himself. So if you're lying about your age, etc ., we're probably not a match. Same if you're still very angry/bitter about your divorce, past relationship or childhood. And while I like children, I don't have any. I'm hoping yours are finished, or almost finished, with high school, or better yet, out of the house and ready to start their own lives.
It may seem like I'm asking a lot. But I'm believe I'm not asking for anything I'm not willing to give.
