Bubbly intelligent caring and kind, but also independent strong willed and stubborn!! None of us is perfect, all I am looking for is someone genuine, ordinary with a kind and compassionate nature...I love the theatre, eating out and cruising the high seas but would love to do it in the arms of a man...if he is gorgeous then even better but beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I am a semi retired social worker, who now teaches student social workers part time.
I am compassionate and sensitive, but I am also very supportive and fight hard to ensure people get the breaks in life that they deserve. I am someone who rarely loses my temper, but I also dont suffer fools gladly and am straight talking as I hate playing mind games. Apart from all this, you will have to meet me to find out...one thing is you wont be bored I promise!!

To do what I can for others not so fortunate as myself. To care for and love those closest to me to the best of my ability and know love in return, and to see my grandchildren grow up! Also and most of all to know what it is like to be loved wholly and completely and to end my days with my spiritual partner (well, its better than "soulmate!") knowing I am accepted and loved for who I am warts and all!

A really good theatre show, or a game or two of ten pin bowling and then out for a meal with friends if they beat me the drinks are on them!! I enjoy live concerts as well and they are a real buzz but cant afford many altho seeing Micchael Buble next year cant wait!
going to the cinema and weekends away and holidays of course, especially cruises as stated, I am not good in too much sun, so seek out holidays out of season but love going to non touristy places in the more obscure European destinations! I like pub quizzes too but am not really into clubbing or noisy atmospheres, no its not my age cheeky! I have always only gone occasionally and still do when the mood takes me but not too often!

Someone who is articulate, confident without being cocky, intelligent and with a sense of humour. Someone who knows how to love someone other than themselves, someone who is not totally hooked on material things but is also connected to the important values in life, like being unselfish, empathetic and caring...not too much to ask for but not expecting all of these values in abundance, a small glimmer of some of them will do! Most importantly, someone who knows what is really important in life, and that isnt just how much is in the bank! Oh...and someone who has my sense of humour...now that is a big ASK.! Thanks.
