I Would Describe Myself As

Well here goes, I am the mom to the best 8 kids in the world, of whom, three remain at home. We moved to central Alberta about 12 years ago and I've been single for 10 of them. It has been difficult to carve out a social life AND be a good mom, so I'm pretty rusty on the former. This last year I completed a BSc with distinction (I found that entertaining) and am thinking I'd like to make time for something more.. Although I enjoy my time alone, it would be nice to have someone to share things with. My idea of handsome is a kind, honest gentleman with integrity, who knows how to work and how to play. You can rub elbows with kings and still shake the janitor's hand on the way out; you can play with kids and debate with scholars. If you've ever read Rudyard Kiplings "IF" you get my drift. I don't want a father for my children, as they have one, but I do have the greatest respect for them and would ask you have the same.
As for me, I've learned to be content where ever I am and at whatever stage in life I'm at - hard lesson. I love dressing up to go out or to stay home. I love sunrises and sunsets as they remind me that God is still in control. I'd love to enjoy some in other parts of the world. Not a tv fan but I like to watch a good movie or play - Shakespeare in the Park is a favorite. I have always been fascinated by the world around me, which makes me extremely curious. I love to laugh - more often then not it's at myself. I can fight fair - when I want to. And I love faithfully - I will always have your back. If there is an elephant in the room, I'll probably ask about it. I've always thought it would be nice to be in a relationship where I didn't always have to be the responsible one. I'd like to let my hair down (whats left of it lol) and know I was in safe hands. Being fit is important to me, because my family lives to be very old and I want to be able to enjoy every minute of it. I love most sports, long walks, short walks, long run, short runs, or cheering on the side lines. I love the quirky little cafes you find in the most God forsaken places that have the best food. I hate unhealthy fear and tend to walk into the flames as opposed to around them, which may be why I'm here. Hopefully, it's worth it. Thanks
