I would describe myself as a person who tries to see the positive in life. I always try and view life as a glass half full as my father always did. I look at the beauty in nature when circumstances may be less than glorious. It’s nature’s beauty all around which lifts my spirit.

I love languages, in particular, Italian. At one time I was fairly fluent but that was years ago when I lived in Florence. I am trying to grow my language ability now. In addition to Italian, I love yoga, exercising, gardening, walking, hiking and biking along with traveling and being with my two cats and dog. To say nothing of experiences with my two special grandsons and their parents.

I don’t have to always be doing something active. I can easily pass the time reading or just sitting outside listening to the birds and the sound of the leaves fluttering in the wind or watching the clouds move and change shape.
