Me describiría a mi mismo como
Spiritual, funny, outgoing, Ivy-educated, affectionate, thoughtful, open-minded, athletic, cultured and at peace. An all around pretty darn good guy -if I do say so myself ) . . . oh, and humble.
I'm very active. I love the outdoors, fitness, cooking, meditation, Buddhism and Judaism . . . I love reading, good philosophical conversations, preferably over a bottle of wine . . . a picnic (on a beach, in a park, on a hillside, in the countryside), exploring, spontaneity and . . . surprising you. I like to dance (don't worry, i won't embarrass you or step on your toes . . . maybe), resto's, great music (all of the arts, for that matter), languages, travel, Israel . . . and making lists -). I am responsible, view challenges & obstacles as opportunities to grow, am reliable and am focused on compassion for others.
I also clean up pretty well :).
I've lived in NY, San Francisco and briefly S of France, Rome and Israel before settling in FL, & have been to 49 countries. I've taken the best aspects of what I've learned in each place and incorporated them into my life.
What I'm looking for: I'd like to create a family w/ a true partner, a positive, affectionate, spiritual woman who is honest, compassionate, kind, subtle, trustworthy, loving and adventurous, who can relax, roll with life and is optimistic. That said, I think getting to know a person gradually, without rushing into it, forestalls romantic intoxication (which feels great, but is an immature love) . . . and will lead to a better relationship and better decisions. I've worked hard on my own development and am not in a hurry to give it away rather, I'd like to share over time with someone who also has focused on her growth and inner peace. I believe real love cannot be aspired to it occurs naturally, without attachment, expectations, insecurity, need, jealousy or possessiveness and results from consciousness and awareness. If you know what I mean in this paragraph, I especially would like to meet you!
Despite the above, I admit, I enjoy life and I like nice things, but if they all vaporized tomorrow, I'd still be happy, bc that happiness comes from within. It would be great to find someone who agrees with this philosophically (and we'll pray it never happens!). I keep very fit, so I appreciate someone who thinks its impt to take care of herself beyond the superficial. I'm not looking for the perfect woman just someone right for me. I've learned the keys to a harmonious relationship are acceptance and focusing on the other person's strengths, bringing out the best in each other.
Reference: the greatest compliment I've ever received was when a 4 yr old told me (very matter-of-factly): "You're the SILLIEST silly!" Need I say more?
